Ripple CG worked alongside Peninsula Publishing and California Edison to create stunning visual assets including virtual tours, renderings and animations for the ABC Green Home 1.0 and the ABC Green Home 2.0 project. The goal of these projects was to create an Affordable, Buildable, and Certifiable home: Affordable to the widest range of home buyers possible, Buildable anywhere in the United States, and Certifiable by any rating organization.
ABC Green Home 2.0 Project
ABC 2.0 is the most current project set forth by Peninsula Publishing and California Edison demonstrating the ability to showcase high performance housing while introducing a net zero energy home. Sustainable in design, this two-story model home also demonstrates a luxurious design which encompasses around 2,200 square feet while sitting on a 10,000 square foot lot.
Ripple CG is proud to have created an all-in one interactive solution including virtual tours, interior renderings, exterior renderings and animations. The goal of this project was to create stunning visualizations that would lead to an enhanced representation of the project. The end result was a success and many of Ripple’s project renderings, 3D Virtual tours and contributions can be found in various online locations including the Green Home Builder Magazine and KTGY’s website. To view project renderings view page 46 of Green Home Builder’s January edition. To view our magazine advertisement placement, view page 75 of Green Home Builder’s November edition. ABC Green Home 1.0 Project
The ABC Green Home 1.0 Project was the first innovative, zero net energy home project set forward by Peninsula Publishing and California Edison. Located in Orange County Great Park, ABC Green Home 1.0 provides clean light-emitting diodes and solar panels to generate ample heat. This project differs from the most current ABC Green Home project as the ABC Green Home 1.0 project includes a one-story design that encompasses approximately 1,700 square feet while the ABC Green Home 2.0 project includes a two-story home design which encompasses approximately 2,200 square feet.
With the hopes of turning this sustainable innovation into a virtual home vision, this project allowed Ripple CG to explore new, innovative design approaches that would push the envelope of traditional production pipelines. Ripple’s visualization assets created such a positive response, that Ripple CG was quickly selected to produce another tour for the ABC Green Home 2.0 project.
Ripple CG’s project renderings, interior animations and contributions to the ABC Green Home 1.0 project can be found in various online locations including the Green Home Builder Magazine.
